Remote consultations

Some veterinary visits can be handled remotely via phone. These can include, for example, rechecks for diseases or symptoms that do not require blood tests or other sample monitoring. The possibility for remote check-ups is always decided for each patient separately with their veterinarian.

Remote visits can also be utilized in the treatment of cat patients who live further away, if the owner needs to consult a cat doctor about the need for further treatment or other pressing matters. Please note, however, that according to the Medicines Act, veterinarians in Finland cannot prescribe medication for a cat without a physical examination related to the ailment in question.
