Laboratory Services
Our clinic’s in-house laboratory enables us to perform the most important tests during your visit. We have a modern setup of IDEXX brand laboratory equipment, which allows us to obtain most results quickly and accurately. Laboratory tests that can be run at our clinic include blood samples, urine samples, and certain skin samples.
Common bloodwork that cats may need on a clinic visit include complete blood count, organ biochemistry, electrolytes and thyroid level.
Special tests
Our clinic has also the possibility to examine the following special tests:
- Ammonia
- Coagulation factors
- FIV/FeLV test
- SAA inflammation marker
- Cardiac marker NT-proBNP
- Feline panleukopenia vaccination antibodies
- Urine protein/creatinine ratio UPC
The sampling is carried out as stress-free as possible for the cat patient. In most cases the kitty is awake, and you as the owner can be present if you want. If necessary, we use cat-friendly and medicinal aids to relieve anxiety. Our entire team is trained in cat-friendly handling.
