Dental Care

Our dental treatment always includes dental calculus or tartar removal, dental X-rays and physical examination of the teeth. In addition, we can perform simple tooth extractions, such as crown amputations and incisor extractions, on a case-by-case basis. We do not currently perform more demanding tooth extractions and refer these patients to our partner clinics for further treatment when needed.

Dental diseases are very common in cats, and a comprehensive oral assessment requires an inspection of each tooth with instruments and X-rays. During dental treatment we will always take dental X-rays of your cat’s entire mouth and you will receive a complete assessment chart at the appointment in order to keep track and follow-up on your cat’s treatment plan.
