Home visit prices and preparation instructions
We can make home visits when possible, by separate arrangement. You can ask about the possibility for a home visit by calling the clinic or sending us an email.
A home visit can be a good option for a cat that is particularly fearful of being brought to the clinic. However, please note that diagnostic and treatment options are limited during home visits and sometimes it is in the patient’s best interest to come directly to the clinic. If your cat is prone to anxiety and you are not sure which type of visit to choose, please feel free to contact the clinic and we will see together which option would be best for your cat.
Pricing for home visits
Procedures (e.g. vaccination) are invoiced according to the normal price list. In addition, a home visit fee of 50 € (vet visit) or 25 € (nurse visit) and kilometer costs are added to the price of the home visit. Kilometer costs are calculated from Mattilanniemi.
If place of visit does not have free parking, the cost of parking will be added to the visit fees.

For home visits, you can pay with most common debit or credit cards. We reserve the right to change prices.
Preparing for a home visit
- When your booked home visit time approaches, your cat should be indoors in a room or in a carrier where it can be easily taken for examination*.
- Make sure that the treats with your cat’s favorite treats are replenished for the home visit.
- Make room in the room and on the dining table or desk if we need a working space, for example, for taking blood samples.
- Have a clean towel with a scent from home ready.
- If blood samples are being taken from the cat, please fast the cat for 6-8 hours, unless otherwise instructed.
*It is the owner’s responsibility to catch the cat before the home visit begins. If this is not possible for any reason, we will have to charge a home visit fee.
